Elizabeth Wenske-Mullinax, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Wenske-Mullinax, Ph.D. is Quality Supplier Manager, Quality Assurance, at Ceva  Animal Health (Biomune), Lenexa.  Ceva produces animal biologics in Lenexa which are marketed globally. Prior to Ceva, Dr. Wenske Mullinax worked in Continuing Education at KU Medical Center where she managed the Kansas statewide sepsis program as well as directed a workforce training program for entry level Biomanufacturing positions. The program won an Excellence award from the state of Missouri for its academic/industry partnership. She spent over twenty years  in the Boston biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry with positions in research, development, and operations management. Elizabeth graduated from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee,  Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Harvard University and completed her post-doctoral work under Dr. Bernie Fields at Harvard Medical School. Along with working at Ceva, she is an adjunct at KU Edwards and currently co-teaches the Regulation and Quality course for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology program.  She and her husband raised two daughters. Her hobbies include playing the violin, traveling and taking walks with her dog Martini.
