Meagan Kurland

Meagan is a 5th year PhD candidate in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at KU. Her research utilizes the nematode C. elegans and focuses on neural development, specifically axon growth and neuron specification. This is the second time she has been part of the organizing committee for SEARCH, and she is excited to continue expanding the symposium to better aid graduate students who are looking into careers outside of academia.
